Under the Stars Fly-in/Camp Out

Fly in or drive in and camp out for an evening of stargazing, satellite spotting, and shooting star sightings.  Bring your airplanes, tents, binoculars, telescopes, cameras, snacks, and beverages for a relaxing evening of stargazing at Antique Airfield.

Dinner will be “Over the Top” Chili, courtesy of Ben Taylor.

A ceremonial piano burning will occur during the evening festivities away from the stargazing in honor of fallen comrades.  This is a tradition within the military pilot community to honor a deceased pilot or celebrate notable accomplishments.  So bring your stories of the “Gone West Squadron” to share.

Limited shower facilities are available.  Avgas is available at nearby OTM, OOA, or PEA.  There will be no avgas available at Antique Airfield.
