The final walk through/inspection of the Restoration Center with representatives from Greiner Buildings Inc, Wapello county officials and Brent Taylor of the APM went well. Said inspection finishes up construction of the shell of the building. That then clears the way to start the interior work. We hope to finalize those plans by the end of the month and begin the interior work early in Oct.
With donations of over $2000.00 made during the AAA/APM Fly-in, our "Buy-a-Foot" campaign has topped 96% of it's goal with over $68,000.00 raised. That leaves just 113 sq ft in our "Buy-a-Foot" campaign to complete this vital portion of building the Restoration Center. There's still time to buy a square foot or two but not much time. For $25 a sq ft you can join with an august group of antiquers, corporations, AAA & EAA chapters, aviation notables and even a US Congressman or two in helping make the APM Restoration Center a reality.
