Last week we got two registrations for Fleet 2's for this year's fly-in. Stan Sweikar has been updating us with pictures and videos of his Fleet over the past several years, and just completed his restoration in July. We're looking forward to seeing the finished airplane at Blakesburg.
Jeremy Young and Bob Juranich just purchased their Fleet 2 this past weekend, and will be flying it to Blakesburg after some checking out and shakedown is completed. There will be a number of biplanes come out from Washington state this year: the Fleet, a Command-Aire, several Wacos, the Boeing Model 40, several Stearmans and a Travel Air.
